A prominent Ndokwa stakeholder and chieftain of the Light Up Ndokwa movement, Lucky Oliogu, has called on the people of Ndokwa Nation to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of forthcoming elections.
Oliogu made the appeal in a statement shared via his social media handle, emphasizing that the future of Ndokwa lies in active political participation and the choice of credible leadership.
According to him, it is time for Ndokwa Nation to allow leadership that will move the collective dreams and aspirations of the people forward. He stressed that the PVC remains the most powerful tool in the hands of citizens to shape governance and determine the direction of development in the area.
“It is time for Ndokwa Nation to allow a good leadership that will move our dreams forward,” he stated.
The Light Up Ndokwa chieftain noted that Ndokwa people deserve quality representation and purposeful governance capable of addressing key challenges such as infrastructure, electricity, youth empowerment, and economic growth.
He urged eligible voters, particularly youths and first-time voters, not to treat the electoral process with indifference, adding that political apathy only weakens the voice of the people.
Observers say the call comes at a time when political conversations are gradually gaining momentum across Delta State, with stakeholders encouraging increased voter awareness and participation.
As preparations toward future elections gather pace, Oliogu’s message adds to growing calls for civic responsibility and the demand for accountable leadership in Ndokwa Nation.
