The inaugural edition of the Light Up Ndokwa Conference held on October 1, 2025, has been described as a landmark gathering that ignited fresh ideas, fostered connections, and inspired a new wave of possibilities for the Ndokwa nation.
The event, which brought together stakeholders, innovators, community leaders, professionals, and youths, blossomed into a vibrant hub of dialogue and collaboration. According to the convener, Evans Ufeli Esq, the conference exceeded expectations, turning “a gathering into a movement.”
From panel sessions to workshops, the conference provided a platform where participants explored themes of community development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Speakers and facilitators were lauded for delivering insightful and inspiring sessions that served as “lanterns — clear, warm, and guiding.”
Organizers praised the efforts of volunteers, sponsors, partners, and the entire Ndokwa community for their overwhelming support. “Your generosity and belief made this day possible,” the organizing committee noted, emphasizing that every conversation and connection was a seed for future projects and collaborations.
Participants left the venue energized, with “heads buzzing, hearts full, and notebooks brimming with seeds — ideas ready to be planted, nurtured, and made real.”
The conference has also invited attendees and the wider Ndokwa community to keep the momentum alive by sharing reflections with the hashtag #LightUpNdokwa, connecting with new contacts, and taking concrete steps on ideas sparked during the event.
As Ufeli remarked in his closing statement, “If yesterday was the spark, let us now be the kindling. The true measure of our time together will be in what we build next — together.”
The Light Up Ndokwa Conference, which debuted with remarkable success, is now set to become an annual platform for dialogue, growth, and transformation in the region.
