The FRSC further stated that artisans, professional drivers, and riders with the required qualifications and practical experience are eligible to apply under the road marshal assistant cadre.
The corps outlined several general requirements for prospective applicants, including Nigerian citizenship by birth, computer literacy, and medical fitness. It added that possession of a valid National Driver's Licence would serve as an added advantage during the selection process.
Applicants are also required to present a certificate of medical fitness issued by a government-approved hospital and any relevant professional licences applicable to their chosen positions.
In addition, candidates must satisfy the minimum height requirement of 1.65 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females.
The FRSC emphasised that applicants must be of good character, free from financial embarrassment, and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
According to the recruitment notice, the application portal will open on Friday, July 3, 2026, and remain accessible for four weeks. Interested candidates are expected to submit their applications through the official FRSC recruitment portal within the application period.
